i thought i was checkin into a luxury getaway, but the breakfast was always the same and, shockingly, the staff wouldn’t even arrange the shuttle bus for me. the cleaners "forgot" to make up my room on some days as well. i mean, i almost thought about giving a glowing review, but that just couldn’t happen.

Here’s the real story
I was pleasantly surprised by the great atmosphere and friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious, setting us up for a day on the slopes. The onsen area was clean and enjoyable after skiing. Plus, the taproom had a fantastic beer selection and delicious food. A wonderful place I would definitely revisit!

Location was super convenient for everything, easy walks to lifts, and quick access to places for lift tickets and great restaurants. Breakfast each morning rocked—definitely helped kick off our days right! ! Staff were super friendly and helped with dinner bookings in advance.
Nothing.

It was just an ideal choice for a short stay in Hakuba with good price value. Rooms were clean and the little onsen was amazing. Bring your own towels for the onsen just in case.

Had an awesome time with my friends! The views were stunning from our room, and we loved the spacious public baths after skiing all day. Breakfast was solid, with a good start to our mornings, and the location was handy, just a short walk from the slopes. Definitely check out the taproom for delicious food and local craft beers!
The onsen was a bit basic, which might be a letdown if you're expecting something more luxurious.

missingWrote a review on Mar 10hot springdelicious breakfastshort bunk bed
I had such a fantastic stay! The hot spring was perfect after a long day of skiing, and the breakfast made it so easy to fuel up before hitting the slopes. However, the bunk bed was a bit short for me, though that’s typical in Japan. I'll definitely stay again!

missingWrote a review on Mar 04spacious corner roomvaried dining optionslimited breakfast varietyexpensive laundrydistance to gondola
The corner room was spacious, complete with comfortable twin beds and a tatami area, providing a cozy vibe. The taproom offered an impressive selection of local craft beers and delicious food, enhancing the overall experience. However, breakfast could benefit from more variety beyond the standard offerings, and the laundry facilities felt overpriced. Additionally, it would have been more convenient to be closer to the Gondola for easier access to the slopes.

missingWrote a review on Feb 01small roommisleading onsen
While the ski equipment room provided convenience, its cramped size led to a chaotic end-of-day situation with boards and boots scattered around. The much-anticipated onsen turned out to be misleading. it lacked the genuine thermal water experience, leaving us seeking authentic onsens elsewhere after five nights. The shuttle services were inconsistent, especially when we found ourselves trudging uphill with ski gear when a promised shuttle was unavailable.
